Vivian Paley
Vivian Gussin Paley, the only kindergarten teacher to receive one of the MacArthur "genius grants" has written more than 10 books about life in the classroom. The Child Care Collection had the honor and privilege of filming Paley at work in an Indiana preschool. Please visit our Paley pages to learn more about our Paley videos, and to read about our latest efforts to promote the use of storytelling and story acting in preschool classrooms.
